Health, Safety and Facility Administrator

Looking for an eager, enthusiastic and energetic admInistrator for our production and warehousing operation here in Loughborough. With a new Operations Director in role we are looking to identify improvements to ready our business for growth. If you are prepared to contribute your ideas and learn through experience and experiment then this could be for you. Ideally you will be local to the area, we work weekdays with no weekends, bank holidays and give time off for birthdays and Christmas. You will work under the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager and we can give formal training on IOSH and NEBOSH if required.


Responsibilities

Dealing with administration, record keeping, communications regarding health & safety matters.

Capturing and reporting on safety incidents.

Preparing and sharing communications as required.

Monitoring legislative checks and inspections.

Organising and overseeing audits, inspections and contractors.

Co-ordinating work with engineering teams and contacting relevant contractors.

Assembling, filing, storing and updating records.

Conducting checks with operations teams.

Delivering basic training (once qualified).

Supporting inductions.


Qualifications

Previous experience of working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

IOSH or NEBOSH a definite advantage, or practical experience of health and safety.

Previous facility management or repair and maintenance experience desired.

Capable of using MS Office software and PC.

Working understanding or HSAW act.

Great personality and bags of energy!
