You will join the Institute of Education for Healthcare and Medical Sciences (IEHMS) as one of a team of academic, administrative, and clerical staff who support the medicine degree programme. The IEHMS is part of the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition.

The primary role of this post is to lead the multi-disciplinary team that develops and delivers the teaching of clinical skills to undergraduates in the MBChB programme.

You will join an enthusiastic multiprofessional team of staff who support the delivery of high quality undergraduate medical education in both the clinical environment of wards, clinics, and other appropriate areas as well as simulated clinical environments in training areas. The team is responsible for the development and delivery of innovative and high-quality learning experiences for medical undergraduate students.

The post is based on the Foresterhill health campus. Your line manager will be the Director of Clinical Skills and you will work closely with the Clinical Skills Centre and Patient Partner Programme managers, the leads of the Clinical Placements team and the Simulation team.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Clinical scale for Staff holding honorary Consultant contracts, £96,963 - £128,840 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
