About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the Newborn Screen Program. The CMC – Metro North Newborn Screening Program (NBSP) will work with the Public Health Registrar and Public Health Physician to evaluate, develop and maintain systems (including data systems), policy and education resources for the Newborn Bloodspot Screening Program within Metro North. This position will be responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating professional development sessions for health professionals, particularly midwives but also other disciplines including in primary care, relevant to the Program.
