The role 

An exciting opportunity exists for a temporary 12-month full time AO7 Financial Business Partnering role.  The role working in the Brisbane CBD provides financial based leadership, advice, and support to the Healthcare Purchasing Pool and Surgery Connect on funding allocations and movements including management accounting support for high quality internal financial management reporting.   

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Demonstrated experience with accruals, budget, forecasting and reporting activities within a large, complex, decentralised service delivery organisation.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and present findings to an Executive audience, including recommendations for future corrective actions
  • Demonstrated well developed interpersonal skills including: effective communication (oral and written), consultation, and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with a range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills using software for data analysis, financial analysis and reporting (e.g. advanced MS-Excel, SAP, PowerBI and DSS) and ability to develop skills in the use of other software programs if required.
  • Demonstrated capability and experience in managing successful outcomes in a dynamic environment of competing priorities and agendas, with a strong commitment to client service.
