Job Description :

The pharmacy assistant offers top-notch pat ient service in a polite, informed, and professional way. In addition to focusing on achieving pharmacy excellence in the areas of customer service, workflow efficiency, and inventory control, the a ssistant oversees identifying and scheduling professional clinical services.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department
• Keep track of pharmacy stocks by ordering, receiving, and switching out supplies and stock
• Manage customer prescription pick-up and assist with prescription preparation and compounding of prescriptions
• Third party adjudication
• Blister packing medications
• Other jobs & duties, as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in Kroll
• 1 year of pharmacy assistant experience preferred
• Experience working in a retail environment
• Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
