Job Title: Account Sales Representative Location: Minneapolis, MNCompensation: $90,000 - $95,000 Per YearRequired Travel: 60%-70%POSITION SUMMARY:New Heights Career Services is partnering with a medical laboratory who is currently seeking an Account Sales Representative (ASR) to join their Women's Health sales team! The territory for this position encompasses Minneapolis, MN, extending east to Eau Claire, WI. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Minneapolis, MN.The ASR is responsible for service and sales support activities to assist in driving market adoption and business growth. Core responsibilities include supporting Clinical Field Specialists (CFS) in increasing revenue and driving market development through direct sales to individual MFMs and OB/GYNs. Support efforts include cultivating and maintaining key relationships, and creating and supporting a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly. Focus will be on currently marketed products and new product launches.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Support CFS with a focus on closing businessWork with assigned CFS to maintain and support existing customersAssess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on customer support, coordination of logistics, and problem-solvingPromote quality client/patient relations and create a supportive climate by serving as a role model for other employeesRespect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial informationPractice and adhere to all company policies and regulationsFollow compliance procedures and participate in compliance trainingPerform miscellaneous duties with completion in a designated time frameCommunicate with staff and customers to ensure qualityMaintain and support a service-oriented relationship with customersUtilize personal and professional skills to promote excellent customer serviceQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree or equivalentMinimum of 1-2 years of sales experienceBackground in medical or biological sciences preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales goalsAward-winning sales professional due to individual achievementsExceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, and results-oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skillsAbility to think strategically as well as execute tacticallyMust act with a sense of urgencyStrong desire to work in a startup environment and must work independently with an internal drive to be successfulExcellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customersEffective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritizeProficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail; Sales Force.comIn addition to the base salary listed below, they provide a competitive commission structure that incentivizes performance. The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
