We partner with Team Members, Leaders, Healthcare Providers and Claims Teams to ensure Team Members feel listened to, valued and supported”.As an Injury Care Partner, you will be invested in the recovery journey of every Team Member in your care. You will be responsible for creating and delivering best-practice injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies for them, and partnering with and driving the performance of key players in a coordinated mission to support and care for our Team.
Each InjuryCare Partner holds and manages a return to work caseload/portfolio that will include early intervention cases and cases where a workers’ compensation claim has been made. Working in partnership with the Team Member’s Line Leader, our TPA and healthcare providers, the InjuryCare Partner is responsible for leading return to work and rehabilitation strategies.
What you’ll do:
Interact with relevant stakeholders to drive strategies and ensure early engagement in treatment, claims management, return to work, redeployment and claim closure with our TPAEngage with operational teams to provide training and mentoring in managing return to work and relevant legislative complianceProvide support to operational teams in resolving injury management issues and in developing strategies for improvement and interventionFocus on the management of a RTW portfolio to ensure they continue to meet legislative and self-insurance obligations and coordination of audits on return to work filesMaintain regular engagement and develop strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders including; Third Party Administrator, FPES, Rehabilitation Providers, Treating Health Professionals, etc.What you’ll bring:Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of workers’ compensation and injury management, specifically in claims management end-to-end, and ideally with some exposure to self-insuranceAllied health qualifications will be very highly regarded (OT, EP, Physio)Deep understanding of return to work and rehabilitation best practices, able to devise and adapt strategies for individuals based on medical and workplace informationSolid understanding of workers’ compensation self-insurance regimes, requirements and practicesDemonstrated ability to run injury management and return to work matters end-to-end
