About The Role
We are seeking applicants for a hospital-based Locum Sonographer role in Launceston.
As a locum sonographer with our hospital client, your primary duties will involve performing ultrasound examinations on patients using specialised equipment and techniques. You will work across a mix of all scans with a reasonable amount of emergency work and obstetrics. You will also be well supported by their team of sonographers and doctors on site.
This is a locum position with an immediate start available.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Sonography and registration
• Patient, service-orientated and more importantly a ‘people person’
• Active listener and critical thinking skills
• A strong ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures
• Demonstrated high standard of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, time management and organisation to ensure effective teamwork
• Current drivers licence
• Working with children check
• Eligible to work permanently in Australia
