Job Title: Clinical Lead Art Therapist

Salary: Between £50,400 - £57,750 based on 40 hours per week

As a Clinical Lead Art Therapist, how do you spend your week? With us, you’d start your day with a morning briefing, updating others and getting updated on the great work the team is doing. Next, you may deliver training to our teaching team, attend a leadership team meeting, or designing psychological or creative arts therapy sessions for children and young adults. Whatever you find yourself doing, you’ll be making a difference in the life of neurodiverse pupils, and pupils who may have experienced trauma.
As the Clinical Lead Art Therapist, you’ll have a small caseload of pupils to support directly. You’ll be able to run 1:1 sessions or group sessions to best meet the needs of the children or young people you’re supporting. You’ll also sit within Therapies Senior Leadership team and directly line manage other members of the Integrated Therapies Team.
Don’t panic — you won’t be buried in paperwork. It’s part of the role, but you’ll have the flexibility to work from home outside of term time to focus on this so that your time in school can be spent focusing on doing what you do best – Ensuring the pupils have the support they need.
