Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is looking for a  Centralised Patient Assistance Transport Scheme (PATS) Coordinator who will assist in the provision of efficient and effective PATS administrative services to Miwatj Zone 2 Health Services. This is a full-time fixed term position for 6 months based in Nhulunbuy. Competitive base salary of $ 70,370 per annum pro rata.

Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we’re committed to securing quality health care services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, Miwatj also manages a Corporate Office in Darwin, 7 fixed clinics across the East Arnhem region.

Centralised PATS Coordinator  will be a central point of contact for all TMS travel requests and receipt of hospital appointment letters. Liasing with external health services you will arrange patient travel to attend specialist clinics in Darwin and Gove Peninsula. Participate in Quality Improvement activities and preparations for Workplace Accreditation for AGPAL.
