Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our Macailister Unit on a part time, ongoing  basis.

Our Macalister Unit provides care for people over the age of 65 and consists of 10 Acute assessment beds and 10 residential nursing home beds.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Enrolled Nurse plays an important role in providing optimal person-centred care to elderly clients in a Psychogeriatric Unit at Latrobe Regional Health.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Enrolled Nurse (NMBA), with current AHPRA registration
• Completion of a Nurses Board of Victoria approved Medication Administration course leading to endorsement as a Medication Endorsed Division 2 Registered Nurse
• Current driver's licence
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Mental Health Nursing
• Relevant clinical experience in mental health
• Understanding of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and other relevant legislation
• Working knowledge of NSQHS and National Standards for Mental Health Services
• Ability to organise and complete delegated nursing care of clients
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
