Position Overview: The Health and Safety Advisor will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our health and safety programs. This position requires someone with a strong background in industrial health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work remotely on a fly-in/fly-out basis. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters. Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Deliver health and safety training and awareness programs. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety. Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety. Qualifications: NSCO (National Construction Safety Officer) designation is required. Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in a health and safety role. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Canva is an asset. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work a 14/7 rotation with 10-hour workdays. What We Offer: Competitive wage.
