The Pharmacy Department at the Emerald Hospital manages all medications across the Central Highlands hospitals, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospitals. In addition to this position, the pharmacy team also consists of a Senior Pharmacist and Clinical Assistant.
The Pharmacist functions as part of a team and is responsible for the provision of a broad range of contemporary clinical Pharmacy services to the facilities within the Emerald hospital campus and other facilities throughout CQHHS, and participation in a broad range of Quality Use of Medicines initiatives.
