As a General Medicine Registrar / Advanced Trainee you will be responsible for managing the care of patients in consultation with the Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. In this key role, you will be actively involved in continuous Quality Improvement activities, as well as participate in continuing education activities. This position is fully accredited for both basic and advanced training.

The Facility
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds

  • Your full specialist training in the UK, USA, Canada or Ireland.
  • Have had your specialist training assessed by the ACEM and have been found to be comparable
