Hospital Overview
Our hospital is a leading clinical teaching and research facility, closely affiliated with the University of Tasmania. With 550 beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds, we serve a population of approximately 240,000. Our Emergency Department handles 70,000 patients annually, with a significant pediatric caseload. Additionally, we boast a 20-bed Emergency Medical Unit.

Position Details
We're seeking a dynamic Geriatric Registrar to join our Department of Geriatric Medicine on a full-time basis. If you have at least 12 months of recent Geriatric Medicine experience and meet the eligibility criteria outlined below, we encourage you to apply:
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • On the RACP training program
  • IMGs eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ)
  • IMGs with an RACP interview date
  • IMGs assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable
