Head of Academy Medical

Do you have a passion for sports medicine and a desire to make a real impact on the lives of young athletes? Cambridge United is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Academy Medical to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of our future stars.

The Impact You'll Make:

• Lead and manage all medical provision for our Academy players, aged U9 to U21.
• Provide clinical examinations and interventions for U18 and U21 players.
• Oversee communication with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for U18-U21 players.
• Support the Academy U9-U16 Lead Therapist in managing the Schoolboy Medical programme.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Physiotherapist (BSc or MSc).
• Level 4 ITMMiF and/or Level 5 ATMMiF qualifications (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration and recent DBS check.
• Experience working in an elite sporting environment with young athletes, preferably in a football academy setting.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for sports medicine and a commitment to player development.
