Position Overview:

Working for a fast growing, UK based construction company who work across a range of disciplines including RC Frame, Residential and Groundworks. This newly created role is the direct result of an increase in work in the region and a chance for the successful individual to shape the role. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career with a leading contractor with excellent prospects for self development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all H&S activities on-site, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure that EHS requirements are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Provide H&S inductions, training and orientation to new and existing personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
• Attend and provide H&S input in project meetings

Required

• NEBOSH Certificate
• A good understanding of construction
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practice
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective H&S programmes on site
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
