ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. Due to continued growth we are currently seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians. The ERH Emergency Department (ED) manages in excess of 21,000 presentations per annum. Reporting to the Director of Emergency Medicine, the Emergency Medicine Physicians are responsible for:

  • Providing high quality clinical care to emergency patients
  • Ensuring patient flow is in line with National Emergency Access Targets (NEAT) and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Supervising Doctors in Training (DiTs) and ACEM trainees at ERH
  • Supporting continual improvement of emergency services at ERH
