    Opportunities are available for a permanent full-time and a part-time fixed-term position until 12th December 2024. Based in Epworth Geelong, you will be responsible for supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and assisting in the overall clinical management and team leadership, working in spacious and modern facilities with 8 Acute Coronary Care Beds, 15 Cardiac Step Down & Neurosciences beds with state-of-the-art equipment. This unit has a strong focus on research, including a post graduate Cardiac program.

    You will make an impact by:

    • Having a strong leadership presence and delivering an exceptional patient experience within the ward
    • Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
    • Managing clinical risk and implementing process improvements to improve patient outcomes
    • Working in collaboration with the team and the hospital executive team to ensure patient care is integrated, safe, supportive and of high quality

    To be successful in this role:

    You will either be in an ANUM role or looking to step into an ANUM role. You are a good communicator, flexible in your approach and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients and their families. You’re keen to progress your career, learn how to lead a unit and are open to mentoring and accessing internal leadership programs that support your journey.

    You will have:

    • Current AHPRA registration
    • Experience with innovation in Cardiac models of care
    • Relevant post graduate in Critical Care qualification

    The annual salary range for full time ANUM – AUD $105,083 - $108,521.92 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
