About the role
Working in either Public or Private Surgical Ward, your role will include specialties as Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery, Urology, Upper Gastrointestinal, General surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular surgery and Breast and Endocrine Surgery. We support continuing education for all staff through our education department and have clinical nurse educators on the ward.
Your skills will include the following: 

  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Surgical Unit
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
  • Previous experience within a private hospital setting will be well regarded
  • Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
  • Ability to manage shift work (including, day & night shifts) over 7 days.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
