Job Vacancy

An essential role within our business is available for an individual who excels in managing safety-related matters. In this position, you will proactively steer and enhance the health and safety culture on-site, offering assistance to the Site Leadership Team regarding EHS matters. Additionally, you will hold accountability for managing injuries on-site. Reporting to the Manager Operations, your role will encompass the active promotion of on-site safety through audits, discussions, and comprehensive engagement across all facets of our site operations. Furthermore, this role involves a reporting relationship with the Group Manager Safety, ensuring functional alignment.

Responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Coordinating SHE Committee team meetings
  • Coordinating, communicating, reviewing, and monitoring SHE Safety Plan
  • Conducting weekly and monthly audits and supply outputs to management
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator function for the Invicta Mill site to manage injured persons
  • Coordination of Work Cover matters on the Invicta Mill site
  • Overseeing completion of Incident Investigations
  • Completing incident reports and Corrective Action register
The successful applicant

We're seeking an individual with a strong commitment to safety, demonstrated through prior professional experiences. You will possess excellent communication skills, particularly in building relationships with external stakeholders such as Workplace Health and Safety Inspectors and Emergency Response Personnel. Proficiency in creating clear, structured documents and the ability to integrate well within a team are crucial. Qualifications include industry certification in Occupational Health and Safety, credentials in Training & Assessing, and preferably prior experience in a related role within manufacturing or construction.
