Health And Safety Manager

I am working with a Housing Association in South Wales who are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager, you will lead the Corporate Health, Safety, and Compliance Team, ensuring all safety legislation is adhered to and fostering a robust health and safety culture. Your role will involve planning, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing protective measures to minimise operational inefficiencies, occupational health issues, accidents, and injuries.


This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation. You should be proactive, able to engage effectively with teams at all levels, and committed to promoting a safe and compliant work environment.

The day to day role will include:


- Lead health, safety, and compliance initiatives across the organisation.

- Develop and enforce Health and Safety Policies and procedures.

- Provide regular updates to senior management and relevant committees.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop safe systems of work.

- Manage accident investigations and report findings.


The ideal candidate will have the following exp: -


  • Diploma in Health & Safety
  • Membership
  • to have experience working in the housing sector however other sectors will be considered
