The impact you'll have:

At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.

Due to recent movement within the team, we are looking for an Information Officer to join us. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team that play a key role within the organisation, delivering and maintaining consistent and high-quality support to Conciliation Officers (CO's). You will gather, analyse and document relevant information from all parties in accordance with case management requirements, and undertake follow-up enquiries on behalf of CO's.

Utilising your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills you will provide prompt, high-quality service to all parties when providing information on relevant conciliation procedures.

Who we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and ability to monitor and contribute to multi-discipline information management initiatives and service delivery outcomes operating in a cooperative, flexible, responsive and professional manner
  • An ability to interpret, communicate and provide advice on policy and procedure, identify trends and anomalies, and resolve stakeholder issues
  • Highly developed communication/interpersonal skills with excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting stakeholder needs
  • Extensive client service experience
  • Highly established time management and organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities and complete concurrent tasks to meet timelines with volume workload
