What You Will Be Doing
We have a permanent vacancy arising within the Children's Team - due to high demand for Physio in our Program. This role is suitable for a Grade 1 or a Grade 2 Physiotherapist.
The Children's Physiotherapists deliver sensitive and evidence-based physiotherapy and multidisciplinary care within a family-centred practice framework to children with mild to moderate developmental delays. The primary target group being those younger children aged 0 - 6 years.
In addition to individual assessments and intervention, the role will provide support to families and early years' sector workers on the gross motor and developmental needs of the child. A holistic approach to supporting the family includes outreach, consultancy, education, group work and health education. The role will also facilitate access to other care, health and education services as required.
The Children's Physiotherapists are well-supported within their discipline (including a dedicated Children's Lead) and the wider multidisciplinary team. High quality clinical supervision and above award professional development and training opportunities are offered.
Sessions are clinic-based, at Peninsula Health Community Health sites.

Hours: 31.2 Hours per fortnight (2 days per week)
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
• Skills in working with children and their families
• Dedication to continuous education and reflective practice
• Experience providing services to children in a community-health setting (desirable)
