*Job Brief: *Working as aRegistered Nurse in either the general nursing unit or the dementia nursing unit which is part of a larger care home providing residential, dementia and elderly nursing care, located in Reigate.

*Key Points*

* Caring for patients requiring palliative, dementia, dementia nursing, general nursing, residential & palliative care.
* You must hold an active NMC pin with an Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability nursing qualification
* Some duties are; creating care plans, medication, catheterisation, taking blood, overseeing care staff, leasing with GPs and relatives and promoting independence
* Hours are Part-time or Full-time (up to 48 hours per week)
* Shifts are either 12-hour or 6-hour shifts on a changing rota each week, 08:00 - 20:00 or 08:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 20:00, 4 weeks in advance and may involve alternate weekends
* The salary is £20.00 per hour with paid breaks
* Day shift or Night shift contracts are available

The Care Home is a mid-sized with a dementia and general nursing unit, set in a quiet residential area and is a renovated older building with gardens, giving a lovely homely feel.

Specialising in residential, dementia, dementia nursing, end-of-life and general nursing care round the clock by a dedicated & compassionate team of qualified nurses and healthcare professionals.

*Experience & Personal attributes *
* Minimum of 1-year post-qualifying nursing experience
* You have experience in; elderly, dementia, and palliative care within a Care Home environment
* A caring and compassionate professional plus, a first-class communicator, enthusiastic & ambitious
* Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
* Experience in producing well-developed care plans & risk assessments
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks

*Qualifications*
* A Nursing qualification can consider Adult, Learning Disability & Mental Health trained
* An active NMC registration
