The Facility
This hospital is a major medical centre for the region and the site underwent significant development in 2016. Support services include a 24 hour emergency unit, operating theatres, consulting rooms for visiting specialists, a public dental surgery, paediatric ward, maternity unit, Acute Psychiatric Unit and an expanded Emergency Room department which included 15 acute bays.
The Position
The Department is seeking an experienced General Surgeon to join a driven department. The team consists of Staff Specialists, VMOs, Registrars, HMOs and Interns. This position will experience a varied case mix, including high acuity and activity. Experience in basic Orthopaedics and Indigenous Health is desirable.
The Requirements
To apply you must hold Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a FRACS.
Salary
Remuneration dependent on experience and ranges between $450,000.00 - $570,000.00
