About your opportunity:

Permanent part-time position, 12 hours per fortnight, Location: Townsville

BreastScreen Queensland Townsville operates from a state-of-the-art, fully equipped screening and assessment facility in Townsville and also provides a mobile screening service to 25 rural and remote sites within the northern Queensland region.

Generous remuneration package value up to $24,122 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $62.75 to $67.53 p.h. (HP4)
  • 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a Statement of Recognition with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registrar (ASAR).
  • Possession of a tertiary qualification establishing eligibility for Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) if utilising radiography skills.
  • Possession of a Statement of Registration or Certificate of registration from AHPRA if utilising radiography skills.
  • Possession of a Use Licence or be eligible for a Use Licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1999 if utilising radiography skills.
  • Possession of a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent, or the ability to attain one within twelve months of commencing employment if utilising radiography skills.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • Travel is a requirement of this position visiting locations within the Townsville, Mackay and North West Hospital and Health Services and also Brisbane.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
