About Corporate Enterprise Solutions:

This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment. 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Corporate Enterprise Solutions is aligned with Queensland Health's Software Asset Management Framework and that licences are monitored, maintained, and reported on.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on current software asset management issues and propose strategic management objectives and improvement initiatives for software asset management.
  • Provide input into the development of an organisational culture that will enable Software Asset Management processes to succeed.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on current software asset management risks and issues, proposing management objectives and improvement initiatives for software asset management.
  • Provide expert advice on licensing and contract terms and conditions, provide input into contract negotiations, review contract documentation and escalate risks that require mitigation
  • Analysis of software auditing to ensure optimum utilisation of software resources.
  • Collate and report on SLA metrics for Vendor management and contract management meetings.
  • Manage the operational performance of the suppliers and contracted parties by executing vendor and contract management plans. Ensure that communications and documentation are prepared and disseminated prior to vendor management meetings.
  • Liaise, consult, and negotiate effectively with support stakeholders and team members in relation to support activities.
