The facilities include specialist wards/units for Surgery, Day Surgery, General Medicine, Critical Care, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Emergency Services, Oncology, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, High Dependency Nursing and Mental Health.
These facilities are backed up by a broad range of diagnostic and allied health services including Radiology, Ultrasound, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, ECG and Discharge Planning. Plus Administration and Hotel Services support.
The Position:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join their committed team to provide quality obstetric and gynaecological services to a diverse and appreciative community in a highly desirable coastal location.
2 x Staff Specialists and 1 x Visiting Medical Officer,
Busy birthing suite (over 700 deliveries p.a.) and outpatient clinics (including ANC, Gynaecology, high risk obstetric and colposcopy)
Surgical services including minimally invasive, open and laparoscopic surgery
JMO support(accredited registrar +/- Rural Generalists; SRMO, RMO)
Your Profile:
Ideally you should hold the FRANZCOG but as a minimum you should have already had your training assessed by RANZCOG and been found to be substantially comparable.
