About us:

This facility has 16 inpatient beds and 15 Day Hospital places (bed equivalents). Rehabilitation Services provides a 24/7 inpatient service and weekday business hours ambulatory services. The Rehabilitation service also provides outreach services to 4 step-down rehabilitation beds at the Capricorn Coast Hospital and Health Service, as well as Mount Morgan Hospital. 

About the role:

The Enrolled Nurse holds current registration specific to the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice and supports a Registered Nurse/Midwife in the provision of patient centred. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for own actions and is accountable in providing delegated nursing care.

  • Use nursing knowledge and skills to support and contribute to the delivery of patient/client/resident centred care and to gain support to address care needs that are outside scope of practice.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: Mandatory qualification/s and professional registration requirements. Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.

Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Desirable to have post graduate qualifications in the clinical area of expertise.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills that support competent nursing practice, delegation, and supervision of assistants in nursing and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $72,639 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $35.92 - $38.12 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
