The role 

As an Assistant Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in our team by providing support and guidance to project coordinators and various business areas. You will excel in developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication to achieve branch objectives.

Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of corporate systems such as the enterprise risk management platform and action registers, while also overseeing project performance reporting tailored to internal client needs. Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating committee and working group activities, managing meeting logistics, and maintaining administrative systems and procedures, including procurement and records management, in alignment with departmental guidelines.

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to use Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web-based databases, PowerBI, MS Teams suite, and Planner.
  • Capability to assist in creating and delivering training packages, acquiring educational services, and developing publications (including online training and web publishing).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive issues and interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
