About the role

Are you ready to make a difference? South West Healthcare (SWH) is in search of a passionate and skilled individual to join our Mental Health Service Centralised Triage team. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll be responsible for providing recovery-oriented and trauma-informed mental health screening and assessment. Your pivotal role will involve directing care to the most suitable team for further evaluation, treatment, and support as needed, while ensuring interventions adhere to evidence-based standards of excellence.

Position overview

  • Part-time (56 hours per fortnight), On-going position. Working across a 24/7 roster
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $86,304 -$104,811.20 pro rata, plus superannuation

What you bring

  • Qualification and experience in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Registered Nursing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health clinical services, preferably with previous triage role experience.
  • Proficient in multidisciplinary teamwork within a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are imperative.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and contemporary practices.
  • Tertiary degree in Social Work allowing eligibility for AASW membership.
  • Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Psychologist is mandatory.
