We are seeking experienced and passionate Workplace Health & Safety Advisors to play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety in busy workplace environments.
About The Role
As a Workplace Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with WHS regulatory legislative framework, principles, and practices.
• Conducting thorough investigations of workplace incidents or hazards, identifying root causes, and making recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risks.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective WHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Providing expert advice and guidance to management and staff on WHS matters.
• Delivering engaging WHS training and awareness programs to employees.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture.
  

About You
The ideal candidate will Have:

• Demonstrated experience in previous Workplace Health & Safety roles within a dynamic and diverse organisation.
• A recognised relevant tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety (Diploma or Cert IV).
• A current driver's license.
• General Construction Industry Safety Induction Card (White/Blue).
• The proven ability to investigate workplace incidents or hazards and make recommendations to remove or minimise risks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  

Highly Regarded Qualifications

• Cert IV in Training & Assessment
• ICAM/Incident Investigations
• Building Fire Safety Advisor
• Rehab/Return to Work
