The Location
A picturesque town located in the East Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. It serves as a gateway to the Gippsland Lakes and the Victorian High Country, making it a popular spot for both residents and visitors. well-connected by road and rail, making it easily accessible from Melbourne, which is approximately 280 kilometers to the west. The V/Line train service provides regular connections between Bairnsdale and Melbourne. The Hospital
A long and well established hospital with 51 acute beds, 20 sub-acute/rehabilitation beds. A multifaceted, growing regional health service employing over 900 staff. In this role will provide you with the perfect platform to develop your skills in a supportive environment and enjoy a fantastic work/life balance

• Medical/Surgical ward containing 34 beds
• 2 bariatric beds
• 4 bed High Dependency Unit.
• The unit provides care for a large spectrum of medical conditions and post-operative care for gynaecology, urology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, ENT and general surgery patients.

Essential Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent 
• Eligibility for General Registration with minimum level 3 supervision and if requested a PESCI pass rate
• Have registration or be eligible for AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience in clinical medicine, including extensive experience in General and/or Internal Medicine setting.
• AMC parts 1 and 2 passed
• Competence in advanced life support techniques
