About the role
To provide clinical care under supervision (both direct and indirect) and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy relevant specialist college and medical board requirements needed to practice as a specialist. This position will cover public OPD and theatre time and assist with our huge demand for ophthalmic care within the catchment area for the Metro North Health Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and affiliated facilities. This role will also be responsible for carrying out audits required for the department of Ophthalmology.

To be involved in educational and supervisory services to the junior ophthalmology registrars, residents as well as medical students.
