Position Overview
The hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Urologist to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive urological care within a leading healthcare facility in the South West Region of Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of urological conditions, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Surgical Expertise: Perform urological surgeries with proficiency, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists in oncology, nephrology, radiology, and general surgery, to provide holistic care.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Consultation Services: Provide expert consultations and second opinions to other healthcare providers within the hospital and regional healthcare network.
• Clinical Leadership: Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance the quality of urological care.
• Teaching and Mentorship: Contribute to the training and mentorship of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
• Qualifications:
• Medical Registration: Hold or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in the field of urology, including proficiency in performing urological surgeries and managing complex cases.
• Professional Credentials: Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology or equivalent qualification.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
