About the role

The purpose of this position is to provide specialised clinical and consultancy services in support of the implementation of the Voluntary Assisted Dying scheme across West Moreton Health. The position delivers advanced clinical, case management and care coordination functions to stakeholders and consumers within WMH and provides education, development, and workforce support to achieve excellence in patient care. A professional background in Psychology or Social Work is required for this role.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Advanced level clinical expertise and high-level capability in the application of high quality, patient centred Voluntary Assisted Dying services.
  • Advanced level communication skills and organisational ability including experience in specialist clinical areas, innovative or alternative models of care.
  • High level ability to supervise and support the development of less experienced staff ensuring safe and sustainable high-quality service outcomes.
  • Ability to provide active leadership in the ongoing development of high-level innovative clinical service improvement initiatives, including clinical service development and documentation to support protocols, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate clinical practices, professional support structures and clinical practices.

Mandatory Requirements:
