Job Description:Therapy Support worker Band 4: The role requires the successful candidate to work as part of a team to manage a designated workload (within a scope of practice), maintain appropriate records, and accept accountability and responsibility for their own actions. The post holder will need to be able to work autonomously, with close supervision/support from a qualified team member, and as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.There will be opportunities to engage in service developments and training and the post holder will assist with the supporting and skill development of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff including assistants, apprentices and students.To work with a degree of autonomy and as part of a team manage a designated workload, maintaining appropriate records, within a scope of practice and accept accountability and responsibility for own actions.To accept patients within a scope of practice and carry own patient caseload.To evaluate patient's progress and use own judgement to make amendments to the treatment programme within their scope of practice.To undertake administrative and some house-keeping duties to support the Therapy service.There will be opportunities to engage in both personal and service developments as well as training.
