The Role:
An exciting opportunity is available for Emergency Medicine Consultants to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians providing comprehensive Emergency Medicine services to the patients in this region.

The Location:
Nestled in the southeastern expanse of New South Wales, Australia, this city is situated adjacent to the Australian Capital Territory in the Southern Tablelands region.

Merely a quick jaunt from the national capital, this city offers much more than a mere waypoint on the road to Canberra and its surroundings. Spend some extra time here to truly appreciate its allure – meander beside the Queanbeyan River, admire the majestic heritage buildings (now housing trendy eateries and stylish boutiques), and uncover remarkable gems like Molonglo Gorge, Deua National Park, and the picturesque Googong Foreshores.

The Facility:
This Health Service accommodates a 29-bed facility, featuring an eight-chair Day Surgery and a Renal Unit. Offering a range of services, including acute care, maternity care, renal care, community health services, dental care, access to allied health services, and a 24/7 operating emergency department. The hospital also provides convenient access to onsite X-ray and pathology services.

The facility is closely linked with comprehensive community mental health services, enhancing the overall scope of care available.
Among the community health services offered are wound management, early childhood immunisation, women's health services, social work, generalist counselling, as well as cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation services.

The Requirements:

• Registered with AHPRA with Specialist Registration in Emergency Medicine.
• IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
• Specialist IMGs assessed by ACEM and found to be substantially comparable.
