The Role:
The Obstetric & Gynaecology Consultant is responsible for the provisions of Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Services for patients at this Regional Hospital and will be involved in the training and supervision of medical, midwifery and nursing staff as required.

Based in one of Australia largest cities this location has it all! This is a fantastic base from which to explore the many treasures of the surrounding region. Explore historic townships, natural wonders, beautiful coastlines and the famous Snowy Mountains.

The Facility:
This is a 600 bed state of the art Tertiary Teaching Hospital serving a population of over half a million. The combined Paediatric Units can cater for up to 50 inpatients, with an active medical and surgical day stay and clinical investigation unit, and a busy and growing outpatient department. There is also a tertiary accredited Level 5 NICU. This hospital provides trauma services and most major medical and surgical sub-specialty services.

The Requirements:

• To apply you must hold the FRANZCOG or be eligible to obtain.
• Registered with AHPRA with Specialist Registration (FRANCOG) and have at least 12 months recent
• IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
• IMG's with FRANZCOG interview date
• IMG's assessed by FRANZCOG and found to be substantially comparable.
