The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive and high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established medical protocols and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Patient Care:Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitor and record patients' condition and document provided care services.Assist in medical procedures and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.Communication:Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ongoing care and treatments.Compliance and Safety:Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Participate in infection control and health and safety programs.Collaboration:Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure integrated patient care.Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.Professional Development:Engage in continuous professional development activities.Keep up-to-date with nursing practices, policies, and procedures.Qualifications and Skills:Education:Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.Experience:Relevant clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.Skills:Excellent clinical and technical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.Good problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.Working Conditions:Full-time position.Shift work including weekends and public holidays.May involve exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
