About us:

Oral Health Services provide free dental health services for adults in community dental clinics and children in mobile dental vans or school clinics.

About the role:

The Dental Prosthetist Senior provides a high level, safe and effective dental prosthetic service as a member of a multidisciplinary team, utilising advanced knowledge, clinical skills, judgement, and problem-solving ability to achieve excellent clinical outcomes with dental prostheses for the eligible population.

  • Have advanced skills and experience in dental prosthetics that aligns with the service delivery of Central Queensland Oral Health Service, having the necessary clinical skills and competence to provide dental prosthetic services to most of the eligible clientele.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: Possession of an Advanced Diploma or Degree (or equivalent) qualification in Dental Prosthetics and registration as a Dental Prosthetist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Demonstrated competent high level dental prosthetic knowledge, clinical skill, and ability to provide comprehensive assessment, monitoring and evaluation of clients with a goal-orientated, time-limited rehabilitation focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide case management and care coordination for a diverse increasingly complex clinical case load in accordance with organisational goals.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $152,776 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $62.75 - $67.53 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
