The Facility This is a tertiary, level 3 teaching hospital with nearly 400 beds and approximately 1,700 staff. It serves a population of 200,000, encompassing urban communities, regional hospitals, and remote Aboriginal communities. Affiliated with Flinders University and hosting an onsite medical school, the hospital is ACEM-accredited as a major referral center, providing two years of advanced emergency training.
The Requirements
MBBS or equivalent qualification eligible for registration AHPRA
General Registration with AHPRA
Have appropriate training and experience applicable to General Surgery.
Passion for rural, regional and Aboriginal healthcare.
An enthusiasm to develop cultural competency
