The Medical Services Group is seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse to the Ingham Renal Satellite Unit on a permanent part-time basis working 48 hours per fortnight

About your opportunity

The Registered Nurse will Provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Renal Unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.

Skills and experience:

  • Ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
  • Knowledge of legal and professional responsibilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with the multidisciplinary team, patients and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks.
  • High standard of written and oral communication skills within the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families.
  • Ability to use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position.
  • Ability to provide clinical education and support and demonstrate own ongoing professional development

Generous remuneration package value up to $76,714 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $41.73 to $53.53 p.h. (NG5)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification of this position.
  • Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
