This 12-month temporary full-time role will commence 4 August 2024 and will provide high quality clinical care to patients of the Mount Isa Hospital. 

Eligible health workers who make the move to work with us may receive up to $50,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme.(PDF) ( https://www.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0028/1290484/hed-0623.pdf )

Generous remuneration package up to $216,339 p.a. includes:

  • base salary range between $4822.20 and $5311.40 p.f. (L4-L7)
  • inaccessibility allowance ($34,500 p.a.)
  • 5 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading
  • and FREE ACCOMMODATION.

Possession of an MBBS or equivalent qualification, and registration as a Medical Practitioner in a relevant field with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role. Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant. A probationary period may apply.
