The purpose of this position is to provide expert advice and content knowledge of the Queensland Health S/4HANA solution to ensure maintenance, support, design and configuration activities are completed to meet service delivery and project objectives.

The Functional Expert SAP S/4AHANA will be experienced in any one of these functional areas – FICO, MM, OPIM,SD, EWM, VIM(OpenText) or EAM modules.

The Functional Expert SAP S/4HANA reports to the Manager, Product Development S/4HANA.

About Corporate Enterprise Solutions:

This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment. 

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure and test SAP S/4HANA in accordance with strict information system standards and documentation requirements.
• Train users of SAP S/4HANA in accordance with the adopted functionality and operating procedure.
• Document system configuration, technical specifications and procedures ensuring that they are maintained, reflect best practice for user requirements and appropriately comply with recognised Departmental and Government accounting and human resource policies.
• Liaise with clients to solve problems that arise in the SAP S/4HANA system in a timely manner.
• Proactively assess the effectiveness of the SAP S/4HANA system and liaise closely with stakeholders to recommend modifications to improve system effectiveness.
• Recommend and implement improvements to the processes involved in the deployment of application and infrastructure releases within Corporate Technology Services.
• Provide expert advice and support in the completion of quality reviews of deliverables and ensure that all appropriate financial controls are in place and functioning in SAP.
