The Facility This is the main regional rural referral hospital for the North-West area of NSW with 250+ beds. After the recent completion of a $220 Million redevelopment the hospital now has 348 treatment spaces and conducts over 9,000 surgical procedures each year across 5 theatres. The trauma centre is equipped with a locally based helicopter retrieval service and is complemented by an extensive network of locally based Medical Specialists. The Position Join a high performing, supportive Women’s Unit on a full time basis as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist where you will work within a team of highly skilled and dedicated health professionals. You will provide exceptional leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and midwives, as well as providing supervision and support to doctors in training.
Requirements Hold FRANZCOG qualification/ will be a fully qualified FRANZCOG in the coming months Have had your specialist training assessed by RANZCOG and have been found to be comparable. Current registration with AHPRA/eligible for registration.
