Our first opportunity within our Cyber Security team will be responsible for coordinating and completing the delivery of core project activities for a range of projects with competing priorities. Tasks include managing issues and risks, procuring and managing ICT assets, monitoring resource and budget costs against agreed criteria, and drafting project products.

The role will require you to maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communications and foster relationships through feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.

Our second exciting opportunity within our Digital Capital Program team will assist with planning and implementing projects under the Capacity Expansion Programs using effective project methodology to assist with the development, maintenance and monitoring of project management documentation and communication materials. This role provides direction and assistance in relation to administrative management of projects and maintain project documentation using records management systems in accordance with guidelines, policies, and procedures.

To be successful in either role you will require a combination of the below skills /experience: 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing planning and scheduling assistance to large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program/project(s).
  • Proven experience maintaining program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies.
  • Experience aiding in the compilation of Queensland Health and Project management reports.
  • Effective communication and experience fostering relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and improving project support guidance to facilitate the implementation of the Project Competency Frameworks.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, time frames and accountabilities within project and business support.
  • Monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria.

Additional Info:

  • The preferred candidate will have knowledge of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools (preferably PRINCE2).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Online, Visio and Excel will be highly desirable.
  • Experience in Workforce Management, Procurement activities, Microsoft Project Online, S/4Hana and Service Now would be highly regarded.
