Stonehaven Medical Group, Aberdeenshire – Salaried GP (6 sessions)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic 6 session salaried GP to join our busy but highly organised Practice. 

We are a progressive and forward thinking Practice who embrace the new style approach of enhancing patient care through a diverse multi-disciplinary primary care workforce and are always proactively exploring improved models of working to meet rising demand while retaining core principals of General Practice.  We are a well-staffed and welcoming practice with 6 GP Partners alongside a large multi-disciplinary team including salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioner and Practice Pharmacist. We also have additional HSCP input with First Contact Physios, Pharmacotherapy teams and an Urgent Care Practitioner carrying out home visit requests.

We are a supportive team providing dedicated GP mentorship and are Scottish pioneers of the eConsult digital first approach to primary care. We believe in using digital healthcare to help us deliver a good balance and blend between traditional and modern General Practice by using our human resources most effectively.

The practice has a long history of developing GP leaders and the current partners include the Clinical Director of Primary Care for NHS Grampian, Hospital Medical Director for Kincardine Community Hospital and NHS Grampian Respiratory MCN Clinical Lead.

We will provide a stable base for GPs keen to experience working in a larger practice with a diverse MDT while also providing ample opportunities to learn and grow as a GP leader and experience a variety of primary care experiences.  The post is Salaried but with a view to potential partnership for interested parties.
