The Role  

McLean Care are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at our APEX Facility in Gunnedah NSW. 

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high quality Clinical Care for our Aged Care residents whilst under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

About You

We are looking for individuals that are caring, empathetic & looking to contribute to their communities. You will have current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Previous experience working in an Aged Care setting is desirable, but not essential. To be successful in this role will have strong communication skills, be computer savvy and can work effectively when part of a team.   

Essential

  • AHPRA registration Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
  • Minimum of 12 months practical work experience plus medication endorsement
  • Demonstrated Clinical Knowledge
  • High Level Analytical, written & verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork & willing to take initiative
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
  • Able to use smartphone / tablet & learn new systems for work purposes 
  • 2 x Recent Managerial Referees 
  • Police Clearance – we run one for you for free!
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Commitment to embrace, model and work within the core values of McLean Care
  • Knowledge & Understanding of Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards
  • Firm understanding of Person Centred Care

Desirable

  • Experience in an Aged Care setting
  • Understanding of Aged Care and associated Legislation
  • Experience in supervising staff
  • Basic Life Support
